Dancing Up a Solar Storm

In this activity, participants use their bodies and the elements of dance to represent key features of solar activity (sunspots,
flares, coronal mass ejections, and solar wind) through movement

Many cultures around the world use dance as a way to express their connections to the natural world. In this activity, participants use their bodies and the elements of dance to represent key features of solar activity through movement (sunspots, flares, coronal mass ejections, and solar wind). This prepares them to play a dance-based game related to the Sun's 11-year magnetic activity cycle.
